6th Annual Fun Run & Walk
On Saturday, May 3rd, we will be hosting our 6th Annual Nest Family Fun Run & Walk from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will need a volunteer team to help with set up, facilitate the event, and clean up. This event will help our organization raise money for adapted adventures, classroom supplies and activities, and expanding classes for more members. Brief Organizational Description:
Nest Academy RVA creates enriching learning and social environments for high school graduates with complex intellectual and physical disabilities.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
We are seeking volunteers with interest in growing the support for the special needs community for one of our fundraising events.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Various opportunities are needed from setting up road signs, facilitating lawn games, setting up tables and chairs, passing out information, clean-up, etc
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
All skills and talents can be utilized. Just let us know what your interests are and we will find a great match.
Time Commitment:
Friday, May 2- 12:00 pm- 4:00pm Event Set Up- general set up
Saturday, May 3 - 7:30 am-2:00 pm for the entire event but may sign up for time-specific slots. An email will be sent out by May 1st to provide specific assignments and an overview of expectations for May 3rd.

- A sign in sheet will be provided with information on logging hours, and attendance will be taken.
- Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can do a lot of physical activities in.
- There will be three middle lots between the church building and the pavilion where parking is available.
