Virtual! Family Dinner Kits needed ASAP
This is a virtual volunteer opportunity and contact free to ensure we all stay safe and that clients still receive much needed support. Grocery shopping can be hard and expensive, especially when you are living on a small budget. By assembling Family Dinner Kits you are supporting a family in being able to keep their pantries full and have all the ingredients to cook a meal for their whole family!
Family Dinner Kits support families by providing them with a dinner recipe and ingredients in a 2 gallon ziploc bag, paper grocery bag, or a reusable grocery tote bag. Breakfast kits are distributed to the community through our food pantry and during mobile pantry events.
This is a great way to complete any mandated volunteer hours for court, school, or leisure!
Instructions
#1 Purchase or collect needed items for the kits. All items must be new and unused.
#2 Once you have all the needed items, assemble the kits.
#3 After assembling your kits with all the needed items, bring them to our office and leave them in the drop off bins in the lobby by Suite A.
#4 Submit the volunteer verification form so that we both have a record of your donation. Attached a picture of yourself with your donations for a shoutout through our volunteer newsletter!
