Volunteer Management Fundamentals
Course Overview
In partnership with VolunteerPro, we offer our Volunteer Management Fundamentals course each fall. This 8-week, hybrid course is designed to equip nonprofit staff with skills to build a strong, strategic, and sustainable volunteer engagement program. The content covers volunteer recruitment, retention, training, recognition, risk management, methods for engaging diverse audiences, and more.
Course Format

5 virtual self-paced modules. Modules are completed individually on your own time at your own location.
-
3 in-person sessions hosted at the Community Foundation to engage with peers, share ideas, and discuss implementation of learnings.
