Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads needs volunteers! Service hours given
There is a role for everyone at Bike MS!
Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer.We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during and after our events. Whether you’re living with MS and just want to say thank you at the Finish Line or you’re ready to captain a rest stop, there’s a place for you at Bike MS!
When you volunteer, you become part of the MS movement - a community of passionate individuals working together to create a world free of MS. Together we provide support, have fun and make a difference for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States.
Openings:
Set-up - Friday 5/30 12-5PM
- Lifting, carrying, standing, sitting, walking
Food & Beverage Tent - Saturday 5/31 6AM-9:30AM and Sunday 6/1 from 9:30AM-1PM
- Set-up the food and beverage tent and keep it replenished with snacks and meals for cyclists & volunteers
Start Line - Saturday 5/31 6AM-9:30AM
- Hand out T-Shirts, work registration (background check required), cheer and more!
Start Line - Sunday 6/1 9:30AM-2PM
- Tear-down, Cheering, Photography, and more!
Rest Stop - Saturday 5/31 7-9:30AM and Sunday 6/1 8:30-11:30AM
- Rest Stops are SO fun! Pick a theme and have fun! Setting up/taking down the site, running hydration/fruit stations, serving food and beverages to participants, providing excellent customer service. (Occasional lifting may be required).
Volunteers receive service hours, volunteer t-shirt, snacks/meals a sense of accomplishment and our undying thanks.
