Bryan Park Azalea Garden Volunteers

The Friends of Bryan Park works to preserve, protect and improve Joseph Bryan Park.  Join us as we help the city maintain the 17-acre Harvey Azalea Garden, a popular springtime destination since it was created in the 1950s.  Projects will include weeding, pruning, planting, and removing invasive plants.  This is a great way to give back to a park that does so much for so many.

Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for hands-on physical activity outdoors.  Please wear sturdy footwear and bring work gloves, water, and a snack.

All tools will be provided and primitive restrooms are available nearby.  The meeting location will be sent to participants prior to the event.  This event will be cancelled in the event of steady rain.  Poison ivy is present in the garden.

The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
