4th annual 804 Day in Historic Shockoe Bottom:
804 Day is a community-driven celebration designed to unite the Richmond region through the power of local music, art, and small businesses. Its mission is to foster civic pride and create accessible, inclusive spaces that showcase the diverse creative spirit of the "804" area code.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
We need volunteers in every aspect of this event from setup to tear down to pouring beer.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers are the backbone of this event, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and seamless experience for over 5,000 attendees. From assisting with vendor logistics to managing interactive community projects, volunteers provide the essential boots-on-the-ground support needed to keep this massive celebration of Richmond running smoothly.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No special training or requirements. Please keep in mind it's usually very hot.
Time Commitment:
Please commit to at least one 2 hour time slot.
Other Information (if applicable):
- We will verify through the CF system
- Orientation or training information: We will send information closer to the date.
- Wear clothing that is weather appropriate. It's typically hot, drink water, wear sunscreen.
- Parking information: There are lots of parking lots around the venue and some street parking.
