Join a compassionate community of volunteers who show up for families when it matters most. At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond, we support critically ill children and the people who love them. And your group can play a direct role in that care.
Our DIY Kit projects invite church groups, corporate teams, and community organizations to come together and assemble essential kits that make daily life a little easier for families facing medical crises. When you build Grab N Go Bags, Activity Packs, Black Hair Care kits, NICU bags, and more, you’re not just putting items in a bag. You're offering comfort, normalcy, and kindness to families spending long days at the hospital.

How It Works:
- Your group purchases brand-new, unopened items.
- Assemble the kits at your own location—perfect for team-building or service days.
- Pack items into clear gallon-size Ziploc bags.

Completed donations can be delivered any day between 9 AM and 9 PM at:

When you volunteer, you’re joining a network of people who believe in lifting families up during some of their hardest moments. These small acts of care matter--they remind families that their community is standing behind them and that they're not alone.
