Tucker Park Enhancements
Typical of scenic, rural landscape in Goochland County, Tucker Park showcases the area’s natural beauty and celebrates its historical significance. With open space for recreational use, Tucker Park also offers wonderful spots to fish, picnic, read, paint or just relax. Volunteers will help to improve the visitor experience to Tucker Park. Volunteer Tasks: Trail Clean Up, Trail Surfacing, Improvements to the Playground. Volunteers should bring their own water, and if working outside: sunscreen and bug spray. Wear hats, long sleeves, and closed toe shoes. Please be prepared to sign a County liability waiver. This project will still occur if there is rain.This project is a part of our regional day of service, Give a Day RVA. Registration will close 24 hours in advance.
