Teen Summit RVA is a leadership summit designed specifically for teens. Students will engage in interactive experiences that address various topics that range from gun violence, substance abuse and mental health mixed with arts and entertainment. In addition, teens will explore summer job opportunities in the InspireYouth@Work Opportunity Fair.
For the Teen Summit to be successful, we need your help!
The Student Experiences Volunteer supports and manages multiple interactive activity stations designed to engage and inspire students, including the 360 Photo Booth, Podcast Station, Cash Cube Booth, Photo Booth, and Vision Board Station. This role ensures that each experience runs smoothly while creating a fun, welcoming, and creative environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage participant flow and lines for all Student Experience stations.

Greet and guide students through each activity with clear instructions and positive energy.

Monitor and maintain supplies and equipment at each station.

Ensure a calm, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for participants.

Encourage creativity, confidence, and positive engagement.

Assist with setup, breakdown, and proper storage of equipment and materials after the event.

Report any issues or needs to the Event or Student Experiences Lead.
Teen Summit volunteers should be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Volunteers will sign up for a specific role, but should be flexible in the event that they are re-assigned to a new task within their shift.
