Hop Into Service: Food Distribution & Easter Kit Day (VCU)

The City of Richmond’s Office of Neighborhood Engagement (ONE) was established in 2024 and plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships between residents, community leaders, and local government. ONE coordinates services for neighborhoods, fosters a sense of community, promotes active participation, and contributes to the overall well-being and vibrancy of our neighborhoods.

The Office of Neighborhood Engagement is excited to partner with Virginia Commonwealth University for VCU Days of Service by hosting a Food Distribution & Easter Kit Creation in the Southwood Community. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help us serve our neighbors!

This event primarily serves Hispanic and Latino residents, so bilingual volunteers (English/Spanish) are highly encouraged to sign up and support communication and engagement throughout the day.

Date: 3/19/2026

Time: 12 pm-2 pm
