Community Workday @ Amelia Street Urban Forest
Friends of Amelia Street Urban Forest (ASUF) is back at it for our second community mulch day to support healthy soil, trees, and community on Sunday, March 22 from 1–3pm.
All neighbors, gardeners, and community members are invited to help care for this shared green space by scooping, moving and spreading mulch throughout ASUF’s trails and tree beds. Our hands-on work supports soil health, tree vitality, and long-term garden maintenance.

What to wear:
For mulching activities, gardening gloves, sun protection, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting dirty are recommended.
Where to meet:
Ample street & bike parking around Amelia Street School. We have set a navigation beacon to display if you type in "Amelia Street Urban Forest" into Google Maps. We will meet at the mulch pile directly behind Amelia Street School.
Time commitment:
March 22, 1–3pm ET. Drop-ins encouraged.

Everyone is welcome — no experience required!
