Supporting Henrico County Public School's Students & Young Adults
Date: Thursday, October 1 | 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Location: VCU Mary and Frances Youth Center
In celebration of VCU’s Day of Service, we invite you to join the VCU Mary and Frances Youth Center for a community clothing drive benefiting high school students and young adults served by Henrico County Public Schools.
The clothing drive will help provide students and young adults with professional and work-ready clothing as they prepare for job interviews, employment, internships, career opportunities, and other professional experiences. Our goal is to ensure that young people have access to clothing that helps them feel confident, prepared, and ready to pursue new opportunities.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Registered volunteers will work alongside Mary and Frances Youth Center staff to:
- Receive and organize clothing donations
- Sort and prepare clothing
- Pack and prepare donations for distribution
- Assist with general event setup and cleanup
- Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff to make the Day of Service meaningful, efficient, and fun.

No previous experience is needed, and all necessary supplies will be provided. Just bring your energy, willingness to help, and Ram spirit!
