Bryan Park Forest Invasives Maintenance
The Friends of Bryan Park works to preserve, protect and improve Joseph Bryan Park. Join us and the Riverine Master Naturalists as we remove English Ivy, wintercreeper, and other invasvies from the forested areas of the park to improve forest health and the park ecosystem. This is a great way to experience nature and give back to a park that gives so much to so many.
Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for hands-on physical activity outdoors. Please wear long pants and sturdy footwear, and bring work gloves and drinking water. Poison ivy is present in the forest.
Restrooms are available within the park. Meeting location will be sent to participants prior to the event. This event will be cancelled in the event of steady rain.
