Help install Permeable Pathways in Parks! A Broad Street Park needs You!
Join the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities in putting a permeable pathway in at a new and improved park space, located on Richmond's Broad Street at Cutshaw Avenue (adjacent to the Museum District and the BRT corridor). Permeable pathways help rainwater absorb into the soil, keeping the plants happy and the James River clean!
To ensure your safety, please bring a personal mask, gloves appropriate for lifting concrete pavers, and water. We will be working outdoors, and will maintain physical distance of 6 feet or more at all times.
We'll be working with Richmond's ToolBank on a project sponsored by Scotts Addition Business Association on this park space. The work is physically challenging, so please no children under 13 years old. Volunteers will be placing gravel and Turfstone pavers. Please feel free to email kathryn.garrison@richmondgov.com with questions.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 13+, Minimum Age:13+
