Smart Beginnings - Essential Supply Distribution Event in Richmond
The child care industry has been hit particularly hard during the pandemic. Access to PPE and other necessary supplies has been extremely limited for small businesses who don’t have bulk purchasing power. Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond along with Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, ChildSavers, VDSS, and VPM have come together for a distribution event for these essential workers.
Volunteers will be distributing supply kits at an outside drive-thru event. Volunteers should be able to stand for 3 hours and lift at least 30lbs. Face masks are required at all times. If you do not have a face mask one will be provided.
