Building Change for Yaupon Place
Together we're Building Change and giving back to RVA!
The Richmond ToolBank is helping to activate more outdoor spaces in the age of physical distancing by constructing community placemaking infrastructure that will enhance our neighborhood spaces.
Volunteers will be building Picnic Tables and Park Benches that will be donated to Yaupon Place. Yaupon Place provides organic and programmatic space in the Northside community to re-create healthy relationships within one’s self, with each other, the Earth and Spirit through creative storysharing, ecological partnerships, and wellness programs.. The outdoor furniture will be placed throughout the park so the community can enjoy.
Not super handy? No worries, our experienced staff will guide you through safe and efficient tool use while giving you the freedom to solve problems and build cool stuff that supports community-identified needs
