English Tutor Kits for ReEstablish Richmond
Beneficiary:
ReEstablish Richmond

Purpose: ReEstablish Richmond’s mission is to connect refugees and new immigrants with the resources they need to establish roots, build community, and achieve self-sufficiency. English Tutor Kits will be used to equip volunteers who work directly with newcomers to build confidence and skills in English. These kits are helpful tools to help clients understand, learn, grow, and ultimately feel welcomed and at home in our community.

We ask each volunteer to prepare 2 English Tutor Kits with a welcoming note.

How To:

1. Sign up for the project below. Every person who plans to volunteer (including youth) must sign up. You can create a volunteer team to sign up your group or family members. Read about how to create and manage teams.

2. Review the instructions and supply list here.*

3. DIY! We ask that each participant put together at least 2 English Tutor Kits. There is no maximum contribution for this project, but we will not be able to document more than 3 service hours for any DIY project. Please sign up for only one drop-off date.

4. Bring your completed DIY to the drop-off location on the date and within the timeframe you sign up for.  No DIY form or youth waiver is needed.
