Project: Provide a roadmap for a website renovation process or provide insight on a platform that might meet the organization's needs
Conduct a comprehensive review of the Build RVA website to assess clarity, user experience, and alignment with our mission. Volunteers will identify opportunities to enhance content, design, navigation, and accessibility. Based on these insights, volunteers may also assist in implementing improvements aimed at boosting site usability, visual appeal, and engagement, particularly targeting potential members, donors, and volunteers. Currently, our website operates through Nexudus, our member portal. Nexudus significantly limits customization options unless you have advanced backend expertise, typically involving Nexudus API knowledge. Ideally, we aim to create a new website using a more flexible platform like WordPress, while continuing to utilize Nexudus solely as our member management portal. This SkillsConnect project has a deadline of October 1, 2025, can be completed in roughly 7 - 10 hours and requires at least three years of experience in Web Development.
