Community Workday @ Amelia Street Urban Forest
Friends of Amelia Street Urban Forest (ASUF) is hosting a community work day around the park and gardens on Thursday April 30 from 9:30 - 11:30am
All neighbors, gardeners, and community members are invited to help us tackle the remainder of our mulch pile! We will be using this remaining mulch to fill in the tree rings for the trees around the parking lot of Amelia Street School. Join us in connecting with neighbors and community members while supporting this beautiful local green space
What to wear:
For spring activities, gardening gloves, sun protection, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting dirty are recommended. Please bring a water bottle.
Where to meet:
Ample street & bike parking is available around Amelia Street School. You can type “Amelia Street Urban Forest” into Google Maps to find us.
Time commitment:
April 30, 2026 | 9:30 - 11:30 AM EST. Drop-ins encouraged. This event is weather dependent.
