Blackwell Community Garden Workday
Brief Organizational Description:
Southside ReLeaf's mission is to improve health outcomes and the quality of life for Southside Richmond by building green spaces and advocating for people-centered policy.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Volunteers will be asked to plant seedlings in the garden as well as perform garden tasks like weeding and watering the garden beds.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planting seedlings
- Weeding garden beds
- Watering garden beds
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
All skill levels invited! This garden is a place to learn if you are new to gardening, or to share your insight if you are an experienced garderner.
Time Commitment:
5-6pm
Other Information (if applicable):
- There is a parking lot in front of the garden where you can park
- Please wear closed toed shoes
- Bring a water bottle
- If you have gardening gloves please bring them, we will also have some lend out.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 1+, Minimum Age:18+
