Decorating for Christmas
Organization Overview
Camp Hanover is a welcoming and inclusive camp and retreat center affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). In June and July, children and youth enjoy exploring God's creation through our day and overnight camps. The rest of the year, we host groups looking for a place to get away and connect with each other.
Decorating Party Volunteers
For two nights each December, Camp Hanover hosts Hanover Christmas, our beloved walk-through nativity. In the preceding weeks, we prepare Camp to welcome guests for this special holiday event.
Kick off your Christmas season by helping us decorate on Sunday, November 30. We'll set up and trim trees, hang wreaths and garland, and cover everything in lights. Most decorating takes place inside, but there are some outside activities. Enjoy festive Christmas music and hot chocolate as you work.
One shift: Sunday, November 29, 2-5 p.m.
Directions
After you drive under the Camp Hanover arch onto the camp property, continue through the wooded area until you reach an open field. Ahead, there is a large oak tree. Turn right after the tree. Then park in the field to the left. Proceed to the building ahead, Wise Lodge. Enter via the boardwalk on the right.
