November Community Workday
Amelia Street Urban Forest (ASUF) is hosting a community work day on Friday November 6, 1-4pm. This is a Richmond Tree Week Event!
Workday activities can vary depending on the season, volunteer leader(s), and number of volunteers. Activities typically include a variety of tasks including: mulching, planting, transplanting, weeding, removing invasives, clearing pathways and caring for trees. Our event organziers will provide instruction for any and all tasks we will be completing - no experience necessary!
What to wear:
Gardening gloves, sun protection, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting dirty are recommended. Please bring a water bottle.
Where to meet:
Ample street & bike parking is available around Amelia Street School. You can type “Amelia Street Urban Forest” into Google Maps to find us. We will be meeting at the picnic table along Meadow St.
Time commitment:
November 6, 2026 | 1:00 - 4:00pm EST. Drop-ins encouraged. This event is weather dependent.

Everyone is welcome — no experience required!
Age Minimum (with Adult): 1+, Minimum Age:18+
