Organization Profile

Friends of Forest Hill Park

We are a nonprofit organization created to support Richmond's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities in the maintenance and care of Forest Hill Park and the historic Stone House. We plant and care for native trees and herbaceous perennial plants in the Park, and we conduct habitat restoration work days to manage invasive plants and maintain the ecological health and benefits of the Park. We also conduct walking history tours of the Forest Hill neighborhood, as well as other educational and social events. We are grateful to all the volunteers who support out efforts by donating their time and through financial contributions.
