Jonny Z Festival
ART 180 is a Jackson Ward based nonprofit that provides free art programs to youth facing challenging circumstances in and around Richmond.
On Sunday, May 20, the 11th annual Jonny Z Festival will be held at Hardywood Park and Craft Brewery from 12-6 p.m. This event honors the legacy and creativity of Richmond artist, Jon Zanin. The Jonny Z Fest will include local bands, food, art activities, a raffle, and the Bizarre Market where local vendors sell their wares. The proceeds from the raffle and portion of the money raised at the Bizarre Market will go to ART 180.
This event is a blast, and we need some volunteers to come out and help out/enjoy the festivities with us! Volunteers will be in charge of selling raffle tickets to attendees, staffing out ART 180 products table, and running the bounce house. Oh, and don't worry, the bounce house is a multi-volunteer gig. I certainly don't want to underestimate the chaos that can ensue when something as fun as a bounce house is present.
There are two shifts available for volunteers, an opening shift (including a bit of setup) from 11:30-3 p.m. and a closing shift (including a bit of cleanup) from 2:30-6:30 p.m.
