Help Maintain Girls For A Change Learning Garden
Brief Organizational Description:
Girls For A Change is a non-profit 501c3 with a mission to "Prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls" We do this in a variety of ways by providing resources and access to girls in our community in spaces where they may have difficulty getting access.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Volunteers will support us on these days to help maintain our learning garden which is essential to the upkeep of our community and participants. You will support with weeding, cleaning, harvesting, and prepping the flower beds for a new season.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
None.
Time Commitment:
We ask that all attendees stay for the duration of the gardening which is 3-4 hours maximum
Other Information (if applicable):
- We ask that you dress in comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty
- Bring any gardening gloves, sunscreen or items that you may need to stay protected
- Bring a water bottle
