Maymont's One Great Morning of Raking 2024
Maymont’s Japanese Garden is an iconic Richmond landmark beloved by generations of Richmonders and visitors alike, but keeping it beautiful takes a lot of work! The Horticulture team requests your help for One Great Morning of Raking on Saturday Decemember 7th from 9a-12p where we will remove the fallen leaves to ensure the garden looks its best for the community during the winter months.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own leaf rake if they have one.

It’s always a fun morning and a great way to meet your neighbors and other garden enthuiasts! Afterwards, please join us for Merry Market on the Carriage House Lawn from 12p-5p where we will have 70+ talented local artisans offering handmade gifts for the holidays or enjoy a sweet treat and some hot cocoa to put you in the festive mood!
